Terrible!!
1.0

These people took away the dream of buying my first house. My realtor unfortunately recommended the Motto Mortgage company, with Carlos Ferbeyre, who starts my qualification process. He asks me for my W2s, pays stubs, etc & he approves me for $300k. I contacted my realtor & we found a house located in Hollywood, FL. The sellers accepted our offer. My realtor presented the offer with the pre-approval of the Bank, the corresponding DU. During the first week Carlos Ferbeyre began to ask me for documents to present the bank. In two weeks, he asked for more documents that I presented on time. On the third week before the two weeks of closing, he asked for an extension with the excuse that an IRS document was needed. My realtor managed to make the closing extension & during the process, Motto Mortgage showed disagreements between them. They fired Carlos Ferbeyre but he offers to continue with the file arguing that he is an expert & his service is essential for the closing of the purchase. Everything regarding the purchase process had been fulfilled with respect to the dates of the contract. The inspector after 5 days, the first deposit of $5k after 5 days, the second deposit after 10 days, the appraisal. We were missing the conditions of the bank to give the Clear to Close. Brianna, who was the assistant of Motto Mortgage, resigns 1 week before the closing without giving an explanation. Jennifer Sardinas (owner) takes the file and with no interest in wanting to help begins to ask again for the documents that had already been presented to Carlos. Miguel Carrillo, the manager, takes the file for Carlos who without professionalism disappears and does not give account of the matter. They never communicated clearly. Because of this we had to ask for a 2nd extension for April 30th, 2021. Every day, Miguel asked for a new document. An updated Home Insurance information, updated report of credit, updated Accountant's letter. He never said that the loan was denied. He had no communication with the title company, with my realtor and the seller's realtor. Miguel & his wife Jennifer Sardinas, never sent the denial of the loan to be able to terminate the contract on time. Therefore, the seller had moved out of her house, and allowed her to sign her documents. That same day the listing agent sent an email to Miguel demanding an explanation. Mr. Carrilo excuses himself by asking for a little more time and that the underwriting is completing the process. At 9pm he sends a letter from the Underwriting with the approval of the loan and that the conditions were completed and congratulating me! We have all the letters as proof. A 3rd extension is requested again until May 3rd, 2021 so the bank can make the transfer to the seller’s account. On May 3, Miguel had us all, Buyer, seller, brokers, until 9pm. That night Miguel sends the loan denial letter. These people should not be licensed! They are negligent and made me lose my deposit, which are my life savings. Now the seller is fighting to take it. When Motto Mortgage should be taking full responsibility for messing up constantly and being so careless with their work that they had us waiting over and over and over again. Motto Mortgage destroyed the joy of being able to obtain my first house. On top of all of that, they have been nothing but rude and completely unprofessional especially Jennifer Sardina, who has a nasty attitude. A family member left them a bad review (because they 100% deserved it) and they harassed my entire family by calling each member about 30 times and showed up at our house and parked there to pose as a threat. Completely unacceptable! They have also misled my realtor into hiring them by lying that they have been in business for 30 years but they just got their license in November. Here I've attached their names and license numbers: -Carlos Ferbeyre NMLS 1106838 -Miguel Carrillo NMLS# 2034318 -Jennifer Sardinas 18503 Pines Blvd Suite# 310F Pembroke Pines, FL 33027
